Exuberant instrumental music from Logan Hone and a shimmering group of deep collaborators from Los Angeles. Joy-forward saxophone, explosive improvisation, and full-bodied musical enthusiasm!
On Feeling Fireworks!, the homespun world of Logan’s solo mixtape Dance of Delight erupts into a nine-piece dream band. These songs have been the soundtrack to some of LA’s most joyful communal gatherings, taking shape over a few years of solo sets, band shows, and conga lines. To finally capture them, Logan & the band packed into Paul Cherry’s studio like sardines and played live over two days, all sharing the same headphone mix.
Live performances feature dancer Jessica Hemingway, live animation by Pendleton Ward, and sometimes even the Bob Baker Marionettes!
“Let’s feel some fireworks y’all! WE GOTTA!!” — Logan
“That show was a blast... my wife and I were fully ecstatic-bawling watching our daughter go wild.”
